Frame Border And Fill
Frame border and fill
Border and fill of a frame can be set in the Frame tab, in the Border and Fill panel.
Border options
- Weight sets the line thickness
- Color sets the color for the border
- Style
- Normal draws the line on the frame
- Inset draws the line on the inside of the frame
- Outset draws the line on the outside of the frame
- Join > Mitter, Round or Bevel defines the way the corners of the frame are made
- Mitter limit specifies the limit of point length to stroke width before a mitered join becomes a beveled square join. For example, a value of 9 requires the point length to be 9 times the stroke width before the point becomes beveled.
- Corner Radius specifies the radius for the rounded corners
- Overprint border sets the border color to overprint other colors
Fill options
- Color sets the color for the fill of the frame
- Overprint fill sets the fill color to overprint other colors
Dropshadow
Additional settings
- Opacity defines the transparency of the entire frame [border and fill]
- Blend mode
- Inset Left, Right, Top and Bottom define additional margins within the frame [for text and image frames]
