Server section

Preset: save your settings for future use, to enable connection to several instances of CHILI publisher.

Name: The name you gave to your preset.

Url: URL you get from your CHILI publisher administrator.

Environment: The name of the environment where you will store your converted document

Username: The username you got from the CHILI publisher administrator

Password: The password you’ll need to connect to the environment mentioned above

Autologin checkbox: When opening the Plugin, the plugin will auto connect to the CHILI publisher instance.

Login button: will do as mentioned: login to the instance.

Status: Will tell you whether you’re connected, not connected or of there are issues.

You can save your settings, before you login. Enter a name, and “Save” your preset.

When connected, you’ll see the “Logout” button to disconnect from that instance.

Import settings

Semantics: We’ve called this Import, because you import a document INTO a CHILI publisher instance. You could argue that from this point of view it’s exporting TO an instance.

Only available, when connected to an instance!

Preset: similar to connection presets, you can make Import settings Presets. This comes in handy when you have several setups for the same instance.

Name: name of the (Import Settings) preset

Documents: path where you will store the converted document.

Images: path on the instance where to store linked assets (images)

Fonts: path on the instance where to store linked Fonts.

Log file: Where to (locally) store a log file for this conversion. You’ll need this in case of conversion issues.

Log level: the amount of information to keep in that log file.

Convert gradient to PDF: Because gradients are heavy on documents used in the webbrowser, you can choose to convert a frame with a gradient to a places assed as PDF. You’ll keep the visual look, but loose the edit ability of the gradient in the frame.

Include hidden layer: When checked, will include the hidden layers of the document. If unckecked, the hidden layers will not be converted.

Use high resolution for locked layers: Bram Verniest Will conver locked layers to placed assets, and retain high quality of these assets.
