Environment and server settings

With the End Of Life of CHILI publisher (On Premise) this information is outdated, but kept as reference

Concept

The server defines the installation of CHILI publisher. It is not to be mistaken for the machine it is running on.
An instance of CHILI publisher’s software could be installed on 1 physical server, but could also be installed on a cloud of systems (webserver, state server, data repository).
Each of these parts could reside on a different machine. The machines can be physical machines, but could as also be virtual machines.

An environment is a defined part within CHILI publisher. How you use this environment is up to you.

An agency could split up the server into environments per client.

A corporate client could use CHILI publisher, and split up the environments per company department.
