Ensuring Access to License Verification

Intro

To maintain an active license, your CHILI server needs to communicate with our licensing servers. The domains that your CHILI service will connect to are:

  • my.chili-publish.com

  • licenseservice.chili-publish.com

Firewall and Traffic Restrictions

For organizations that control inbound and outbound server traffic using a firewall or similar tools, it is crucial to ensure that your CHILI server has access to our licensing servers. We recommend configuring your firewall to allow access based on our domain names rather than IP addresses. This approach is more reliable as IP addresses may change over time.

As of February 26, 2024, the IP address for our server is 13.93.34.128. However, please note that this address may be subject to change in the future.

TSL Support

Your server must support TLS (Transport Layer Security) versions 1.2 or 1.3. For users running Windows Server 2016 or newer versions, TLS support is typically enabled by default, requiring no additional setup. This ensures a secure communication channel between your CHILI server and our licensing servers.
