Sometimes creativity and computer logic don't go hand in hand. And, there will be situations, where your creative mind and solution works different than what the computers shows.

Start with a sketch. This sketch (on paper or tablet) will help you to organize the execution, and will hi-light the possible pitfalls.

E.g. If your logo is set to stick to the left side of a snippet, and your snippet is set to stick to a certain position in your document, you have created a de-facto constraint.
