Workspaces and ViewPreferences
Concept of Workspaces and Viewpreferences
Workspaces
The workspace is the interface you are working in. You can organise the workspace in a way you like it, or how your customer would like or need it.
It is possible to show/hide almost every part of the interface / workspace.
When you manually re-arrange the workspace you can save this as a setting. These settings can be called later, or via the web-integration.
In the backoffice you can organise presets of workspaces. These presets can be applied to the document, Library, ... or can be called from within your application through the API.
Workspaces cannot be changed from within the Backoffice. You need to edit and save workspaces from within the editor.
Viewpreferences
The viewpreferences are a group of settings that declare how the system will show you things. E.g. you can set the document to be viewed as a plain document, but you can also set the document to be viewed as a pageflip.
These group of settings can be saved, and called via de web-integration or API.
Viewpreferences cannot be changed from within the Backoffice. You need to edit and save viewpreferences from within the editor.
