3D Models
Concept
CHILI Publisher allows you to preview a document on a 3D model. These 3D models are imported collada files (extension .dae).
The import of these models is done via the backoffice as is the configuration of the 3D preview.
The purpose of the 3D preview is to allow the end-users to verify the content on the design, to see f.e. if content is influenced by features of the model itself (f.e. holes, straps, ...)
The focus of the 3D models is on the content proofing.
The images below demonstrate this concept. The first image shows a poster document in the editor.
The second one shows the same poster on the side of a bus stop in the 3D model preview, clearly displaying the features of the model interacting with the design.
