3D Folding
Concept
CHILI Publisher allows you to preview a folded document in 3D. In this way the end user can see how a document is cut and folded.
The folding schemes are created by drawing panels over the design. Between two panels a fold is automatically added. Adding a mask will allow to preview die-cuts as well, to present the document as accurate as possible.
The purpose of the 3D preview is to allow the end-users to verify the content on the design, to see f.e. if content doesn't reside on the wrong panel or if it gets cut after finishing.
Because the focus is on the content; reflection, lighting, polygone shapes are not foreseen.
