Concept

Document are the basic building blocs.
A document is a file on the CHILI Publishers server. It is an XML-file, describing the document.

Functionally, a document consists of one or more pages with objects on it.
These objects can be frames (text, images, ...) but can also be layers, alternate layouts, etc...

The images used in a document will reside in the Asset Management system.

Documents can be created from scratch (using a template) or can be imported from Adobe Indesign
